The Airborne FORCE net Team, led by Sumner Lee at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, developed the aADNS (Airborne Automated Digital Networking System) ruggedized router solution for the E-2C aircraft.

Leading a high performance team that reached across the country to work with SPAWAR, NAVAIR Systems Command, and multiple commercial vendors Sumner and the AFn team were able to design and develop a ruggedized solution meeting all requirements for providing the military internet to airborne command and control aircraft flying off aircraft carriers.

The aADNS system has become a model for development of networking solutions for other NAVAIR platforms as the force becomes more interconnected.
